Helen Keller Institute For The Deaf & Deaf-Blind
About the Organization
Helen Keller Institute works with deaf and deafblind children by providing a multitude of services such as counselling services, therapy, special education etc. Helen Keller also conducts a two years’ course of Diploma in Special Education (Deafblindness) for training persons to be special educators to educate, communicate and assist in the growth & development of Persons with Disabilities (PwD), especially Deafblindness. This course is recognized by the Rehabilitation Council of India (RCI).

Our Involvement
GECSRFsupport is towards the special instructor’s training program. The two year course will churn out 25 qualified special instructors every year who in turn will be serving children with multiple disabilities across the country.
